I gained my MJDF qualification in 2018 and currently work in General Practice and the Community Dental Services. I was previously responsible for organising events for FGDP Yorkshire and I hope to continue the success of the division in my new role as Director. I have been involved with the FGDP Yorkshire Division for nearly 10 years, most recently holding the position of Director. I am a GDP working in Horbury with a keen interest in restorative dentistry and Endodontics. I have seen first hand how the Faculty of General Dental Practice can improve your knowledge, clinical skills and career; having completed their Diploma in Restorative Dentistry in 2018.
I gained my diploma in dental nursing in 2014. Since then I have worked in both private and NHS dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery and now implantology.
I have qualifications in dental radiography and IV sedation.
I have been the administrator for FGDP (Yorkshire) for 3 years and have recently become the DCP rep on the board.
I graduated from Newcastle in 2016 and moved to South Yorkshire to complete my longitudinal training. I am now working as a community dentist and a GDP in West Yorkshire. I passed my MJDF in 2018 and I have only recently joined the board for the Yorkshire FGDP. I hope to work with the rest of the committee to continue the success of this division as your secretary.
I qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist in 2011 and worked in practice. I then studied Dentistry at Aberdeen where I was awarded the Wesleyan prize for best clinician. I did my FD training in Barnsley followed by a year in Maxfac at Rotherham and then a year doing Restorative dentistry at the Charles Clifford in Sheffield. I currently work at the LDI I Restorative Dentistry and part time doing Out of Hours dentistry in Doncaster.
I have been a member of FGDP Yorkshire since 2017, I’m a committee member, newsletter editor and events organiser.
